To continue offering high-quality choral programming and ensure the long-term sustainability of our organization, we will be making a modest adjustment to tuition fees for the upcoming season. This change reflects increasing program costs and helps us continue providing exceptional musical experiences for singers of all ages.
If you register and pay prior to July 25th, you can take advantage of the full-year rate from the 2025-26 season.
We’ll also put you into a draw for a free branded hoodie in the fall!

CONCERTS
The Bravura Kids’ Choir participates in all major concerts held by the DCCS.
For the upcoming 2026-27 season, these included the Winter Gala in late January and Spring Dessert Concert in early May. There are often additional performances added throughout the year, such as for the October 10th “In Unity” mental health event, downtown Christmas Tree Light-Up, or adjudicated arts festivals.
INSTRUCTOR
Classes are led by Caitlyn Triebel and accompanied by Aaron Marchuk on piano
Caitlyn is an accredited Kindermusik teacher and has been teaching voice lessons, musical theatre, and choir since 2013. She has a Bachelor of Music in Music History, a Master of Arts in Musicology, and holds a certificate in stylistic song performance from the Franz-Schubert-Institut in Austria.
DRESS CODE
For all concerts, the choir dress code white tops and black bottoms
Singers are welcome to accessorize in anything within the blue-green colour spectrum. Please ensure that singers are also wearing black shoes and black socks or nylons. Bare legs and feet stick out! If you’re having trouble finding performance apparel, please let the instructor know.
Enrolment fees are determined each year based on cost predictions and secured funding. We try to maintain affordability for families, while also ensuring that we can keep the doors open and our artists and teaching staff paid! If cost becomes a barrier for your family, please connect with us regarding the DCCS Bursary Fund, or apply for the Dawson Creek Arts & Wellness Fund.
Your first invoice will be assessed and emailed to you as soon as it has been processed. Please note that the first invoice will also include the annual $10 DCCS membership fee, if you haven’t already paid it with another transaction. Please ensure your email address is typed correctly!
VOLUNTEERS
Parent volunteers are needed throughout the season and especially on concert days. Volunteer tasks include selling tickets, running concessions, or ushering. We also ask singers to help with a parade float in the summer.
CONCERT TICKETS
Singers do not need a ticket to concerts, but family and volunteers do. Usually tickets are $15 each. Ticket revenue is crucial for sustainability, as our programs rely on this revenue to keep going to the following year.
FUNDRAISING
Fundraising happens year-round for all DCCS programs. You may be asked to sell tickets or products, to provide baking or concession items, or to attend committee meetings as needed for the program.
