ABOUT: The Dawson Creek Choral Society started operating in 2014 and was incorporated as a non-profit society in 2015. Our mission is to CREATE a culture of lifelong love for music; to CONNECT with members, their families, and our community; to DISCOVER our collective voices in song; and to INSPIRE harmony in the world around us.
At DCCS we believe in inclusivity and providing a welcoming, safe space for all. In choir, one of the key concepts is harmony. Harmony is the wondrous outcome of diverse sounds coming together as one. Harmony requires diversity to exist. Our choirs welcome people of all abilities, gender and orientation, socioeconomic backgrounds, and cultural heritage.
