We strive to reduce and remove barriers to participating in arts-based programming. While we try to keep registration fees low for all our programs, the cost of living and financial strains on families can still make these programs out of reach. That’s why, with every registration, we welcome donations to the DCCS Bursary Fund. The more we support each other, the better our programs will ultimately be.
DCCS Bursary Fund
Our internal bursary fund exists to assist members who may not be eligible for support through the Dawson Creek Arts & Wellness Fund. Availability of funds is dependent on donations, and that money is earmarked for subsidizing fees for members who may need support. Anybody can apply for full or partial support for your registration fees by writing to the DCCS Board of Directors, or by filling out the form below.
Dawson Creek Arts & Wellness Fund
This fund, administered by the Dawson Creek Arts & Wellness Society, will offset costs for children and youth aged 0-24 to access arts and wellness programming. Each recipient is eligible for up to $250 in support per calendar year. Application forms are available around the community or electronically on the DCAWS website. To apply, you need a reference who knows the child and their financial need. Funds are dispersed to the service provider.
